Seat Capacity:
The reservation of seats is as per Government of Assam reservation rules for admission into academic institutions. University reserves the right to convert reserved quota seats into unreserved seats if candidates in the reserved categories do not come up for admission. Admission against reserved categories is subject to submission of copies of proof before admission.
Eligibility criteria for MBA
Graduates:
A:
- Minimum marks in Graduation -50 % (any discipline, except fine arts)
- Relaxation of 5% for SC/ST/PWD candidates
- Valid score of MAT/CAT/ATMA/XAT/ARGUCOM Entrance Test
B:
- Graduate in any discipline(except fine arts) with 60% marks (55% for ST/SC/PWD) in aggregate
Final UG Students may apply and if selected through AET will be admitted provisionally. Such students will have to produce proof of having cleared graduation examination at dates specified by the University during October/November.
Shortlisted Applicants would be called for a Group Discussion & Personal Interview (Dates to be notified later).
Eligibility criteria for MCA
Graduates:
- Full time Bachelor degree in any discipline except Fine Arts.
- Minimum 40% marks secured in Mathematics at 10+2 level is preferable
- Relaxation of 5% for SC/ST/PWD candidates
Candidates securing 60% or above in Graduation are eligible to get direct admission with relaxation in AET(ARGUCOM Entrance Test)
Eligibility criteria for M.Com
Graduates:
- Minimum marks in B.Com -50 %
- Relaxation of 5% for SC/ST/PWD candidates
Final UG Students may apply and if selected through AET will be admitted provisionally. Such students will have to produce proof of having cleared graduation examination at dates specified by the University during October/November.
Eligibility criteria for LL.M
Graduates:
- Minimum marks in LLB-50 %
- Relaxation of 5% for SC/ST/PWD candidates
Final UG Students may apply and if selected through AET will be admitted provisionally. Such students will have to produce proof of having cleared graduation examination at dates specified by the University during October/November.
AET for MBA/MCA/M.Com/LL.M
- There would be a maximum of 100 marks for entrance.
- For MBA- English, Reasoning,Quantitative Apptitude, General Knowledge & Current Affairs.
- For MCA- Mathematics (10+2 standard), Logical Reasoning,Quantitative Apptitude & English.
- For M.Com- Logical Reasoning,Quantitative Apptitude,English & Accounts.
- For LL.M- Current Legal problems, Problems from IPC, Environmental Law, Tort & Consumer Protection and Constitutional Law.
- There is no negative marking for the test.
- Candidates are to use only blue or black ball point pen during examination.
- Calculators, mobile phones and other electronic gadgets are not allowed during the Examination. Books, bags, blank papers are not allowed in the Examination room.

Mode of Application
- The application form is available in the University website. The application form can be downloaded and filled up.
- The completed application should be sent to the University along with a demand draft or challan of Rs 700 (For General/OBC/MOBC) and Rs.350 (for ST/SC/PWD) only in favour of ‘Assam Rajiv Gandhi University of Cooperative Management’ payable at Sibsagar.
- Along with the completed application form, one self addressed stamped (Rs 10) envelop should be sent for sending the admit card.
